Nominations wanted for Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year awards
Ongar Town Council is seeking nominations for its annual Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year awards.
The Citizen of the Year nominations must be for a person who lives or works in Ongar or who benefits the community of Ongar.
Nominations for the Young Citizen award must be aged between 11 and 18 and live in Ongar.
Council chairman James Browning: “I am sure most people will know someone who will be worthy of these awards so I would urge you to nominate that person and give them the recognition that they deserve.”
The closing date for nominations is February 28, 2017.
The winners will receive their awards at the Annual Town Meeting in April.
