Pillar's run-saving grab

Toronto wins A.L. Wild Card

The Toronto Blue earned a 5-2, walk-off win over the Baltimore Orioles in 11 innings Tuesday to win the A.L. Wild Card.

Blue Jays CF Kevin Pillar contributed both at the plate and on the field. His 5th-inning double came with teammate Michael Saunders on second base, but Saunders failed to score on the play.

With an Oriole on second base in the bottom of the 4th, Pillar made a diving, highlight-reel catch to rob Manny Machado of an RBI hit.

Blue Jays reliever Scott Feldman did not play.

Toronto next faces the Texas Rangers in a 5-game A.L. division series. Game 1 will take place in Arlington tomorrow (October 6) at 4:30pm ET on TBS.

Dodgers update

The N.L. West-champion Los Angeles Dodgers and Joc Pederson face the Washington Nationals in a 5-game division series. Game 1 will take place in D.C. on Friday (October 7) at 5:30pm ET on Fox Sports 1.
