Big Data, Small Data: Managing Building Energy Data at Different Scales
Wednesday, October 26, 2016 – 9 to 10:30am
Join us for an informative discussion of the platforms and services used to collect building energy use data at varying scales, from whole cities to individual buildings.
Two primary tools will frame the discussion: the Standard Energy Efficiency Data (SEED) Platform, designed by the US Department of Energy to standardize building performance reporting, and the GRESB assessment tools, used for portfolio-scale assessment and reporting of environmental, social, and governance benchmarks.
Panelists will discuss the impact this kind of data collection has on public policy and organizational decision making.
