CAF will receive 2016’s Civic Leadership Award from The Community Foundation Prince George’s County.
Centro de Apoyo Familiar (CAF) has been chosen to receive the 2016 Civic Leadership Award for its hard and extraordinary work in the Prince George’s County in Maryland. CAF will receive tribute at the “Experience the Greater in Giving” event on October 12th.

CAF’s Executive Director, Damaris Batista was chosen to work in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s advisory council to strengthen connections with New Americans.

“Lawrence Fit Team” Sports Program
CAF in collaboration with Iglesia De Dios de la Profecía, Manos Que Ayudan Inc, the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, and the City of Lawrence celebrated on August 30th the conclusion of our summer sports program, “Lawrence Fit Team”. Through this program CAF we provided safe environments for developing youth through sports, trainings, and fellowship.

CAF in partnership with the church Tabernaculo de Adoración and MAGNET was able to help low income families in the Prince Williams county by providing healthy produce and community resource information to the community.
