Who are the Sisters in Crime?

They are 3600 members in 50 chapters world-wide, offering networking, advice and support to mystery authors. They are authors, readers, publishers, agents, booksellers and librarians bound by an affection for the mystery genre and their support of women who write mysteries. Sisters in Crime was founded by Sara Paretsky and a group of women at the 1986 Bouchercon in Baltimore.

Joy Seymour, author of the Kevin Markinson series and other regional authors will join us for a panel discussion of how to come up with ideas for writing.

The authors will also be presenting the library with an award for our winning submission in the Sisters in Crime We Love Libraries Contest.
