I BOO-lieve in Ghosts! I BOO, BOO, BOO!
I know I say it every year, but October is my favorite month. It’s a time I can embrace my gift fully and not worry about being a little witchy. Honestly, who doesn’t have a little witch in them in October?? I leave my windows wide open to soak in the crisp autumn air which is refreshing and healing. And, I get to celebrate my beautiful daughter’s birthday. I can’t believe my little munchkin is two!
Not only that, during the month of October, my job is made a little easier. Why? As we creep towards Halloween, the veil between the physical plane and spiritual plane thins, which means Spirits have an easier time communicating and making their presence known. It is like the volume on the radio is being turned up. So where I usually hear them on a volume of 7, which isn’t too shabby, during the month of October the volume goes up to a 9 and I can catch some little details without much more energy.
That’s how the thinning veil affects me, but it affects you too! How? Because it is easier for Spirits to communicate with you, it’s more likely that you will have a paranormal experience. Don’t worry, the Spirits that are visiting, while they can be noisy, can’t hurt you. As my grandfather used to say, “It isn’t the dead that you have to worry about, it’s the living that can kill you.” And he was right.
Not only that, if you are having experiences that indicate a Spirit is around such as more noises than usual in your house, or your dog is barking at the wall/door where no one is, or you feel like someone is watching you and the hairs on your neck go up, it is more likely than not just your loved ones stopping by to say hello! Rather than being alarmed, pay attention and enjoy their visit!
If you have a visit, or another ghostly encounter, I’d love to hear it! Please share them via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tag me @RevDawnLynn. At the end of the month, all individuals who have tagged me in their Spiritual posts will be entered into a sweepstakes. One of those lucky individuals will get a free reading from me. Post multiple times for more chances to win!
Speaking of things that go bump in the night and ghostly encounters, on October 28th, WillowLight will be hosting its 2nd Annual Hallowed Night. It will be an evening of fun – and the table is sure to do some bumping. Come dressed up for a spooky good time. For more details, go to the WillowLight website.
Hope you have a spooky month. Many blessings!!
