OCTOBER 2016

Fall is officially here and it is a beautiful time of year full of cooler weather and colorful foliage. Even with the cooler weather, there are still a lot of fun things to do at the Petting Farm. The animals in our Zeeb Barn and our pastures are always friendly and eager to greet our visitors. Hayrides are a fun fall tradition that are available daily, weather permitting.

For October our animal presentations will be on Wednesdays at 12:30 pm. Our animal presentations are a fun opportunity to meet some of our animals up close and learn about the contributions they make to our farm.

Do you have a group you want to visit the farm with and would like a presentation? Let us know in advance and we can coordinate a private presentation for your group and discuss other group options and pricing.

The National Network of Depression Centers annual Defeat Depression Dash will run in and around the Petting Farm property on October 15th. Registration ends October 14th at 4:00pm. To register, click HERE.

The Family Membership is only $75.00 and is available for purchase at the Petting Farm. Membership includes admission for one family (children, parents, grandparents and one named caregiver) to the Petting Farm for one year and discounts on animal feed, hayrides, purchases in our gift store and birthday parties. In addition, members are invited to our annual Easter Egg Hunt.
