Should a minimum wage be imposed for private school teachers?
40 percent of Pakistan's primary school students are educated in private schools. But many of their teachers barely earn enough to get by. Faisal Bari, Director of the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS) and CDPR Fellow, describes the difficulties faced by teachers who have exceedingly low salaries, and argues that it's time to explore imposing a minimum wage for them.
