GETS BETTER WITH PRACTICE

The Clearstream Affair (2014). In spite of its title, this is a French thriller based on the 2001 Clearstream scandal, with English subtitles (sous-titres), directed by Vincent Garenq.

Here are a few expressions you will hear in this movie available on Netflix:

Nous sommes venus vous interroger et effectuer une perquisition = We came to ask you some questions and search your home.

Ouvre les rideaux, on n’y voit rien = Open the curtains, we can’t see a thing.

Vous pouvez vous asseoir? = Can you sit down?

Tu embarques les ordinateurs! = You’re taking the computers!
