The singers of Birmingham Festival Choral Society enjoyed a highly successful tour to Burgundy, France in July, during which they sang to full houses in St Julien du Sault, Sens,Vezelay and Auxerre. The French theme is continued in our November concert, which features beautiful sacred choral music from Fauré, Duruflé and Dattas.
At the moment the four short listed candidates for the post of Music Director are taking a Guest Rehearsal each. We look forward to the new MD being in post by January. In the meantime, we are very grateful to the multi talented Kevin Gill for coordinating our rehearsals and conducting the 'In Paradisum' concert on 19th November.
