Last night, Lisa returned from 40 days of travel to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and Richmond, Virginia, in a self-created artist residency. If you didn't follow it on Instagram or Facebook, stay tuned for an upcoming exhibit, talk, and book of art related to her travels, encounters, learning, and surprises that came along the way. (Including a surprise jam in Richmond and hearing Cajun fiddle at the Richmond Folk Festival!)

Friday, October 14, at 7pm - Art Boutiki, San Jose, featuring all acoustic duos performing original music: Worley, New Oak Pilgrims, The Ten Thousand Ways, and Chinese Melodrama. $10 cover.

Sunday, October 16, at 11:15am - Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival. Chinese Melodrama plays on the Made on the Coast stage, Cunha's Country Store parking lot, corner of Kelly & Main.
