End of Year Bash
Saturday, November 5
Grab a friend and come join us at Topgolf as we wrap up our 2015-2016 golf season. We'll have a very short meeting to introduce new board members, honor our volunteers and discuss plans for next season, followed by dinner and Topgolf. Our buffet will include a fajita fiesta menu - soft drinks, tea, coffee and water included. Cash bar and other menu items available for purchase. Check-in starts at 5:00 p.m.
- 50/50 Raffle Tickets will be available for purchase at check-in
- Extra Bonus: For each ticket you purchase for the End of Year Bash, your name will be entered into a drawing for one free ticket to our 2017 Spring Tee Off Event (event details and location will be announced early 2017).
You may notice that we have switched from 123Signup to Eventbrite as our registration system. So registration will look a little different than in the past, but we anticipate that Eventbrite will provide more flexibility for our various types of events going forward.
No tickets will be sold at the door. Registration is limited, so don't delay!
Mission Accomplished!
EWGA KC's Play for P.I.N.K. Golf Tournament was held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Painted Hills Golf Course. This year’s tournament raised approximately $5,000 to benefit the Play for P.I.N.K. Foundation and Debbie Lopez Fund – Saint Luke’s Foundation. Participants enjoyed breakfast, 18 holes of scramble competition, lunch, a gift basket raffle, and a goodie bag.
Thanks to the planning committee, Morgan Rathmel (director), Jennifer Hewitt (chair), Brooke Robel, Sue Tegtmeier, Lori Gorman, Colleen Shern and Raylene Alexander, for putting together this well executed and important event!

2016 EWGA Championship
Finals
2016 EWGA Championship Finals are in progress Oct. 14-15 at The Lansdowne Resort and Spa in Leesburg, Virginia. Eight women have advanced to finals to represent our KC chapter. Check out RESULTS as they are coming in!
Shout out to Donna Nelson who, along with Shelly Amundson, advanced to Finals in BOTH major EWGA competitions this year: EWGA Cup and EWGA Championship!
EWGA Cup Finals
November 11-12
Good luck to our KC match play teams GHIN and ToniKC and Double GHIN and ToniKC who will advance to EWGA Cup Finals in Rancho Mirage, CA on Nov. 11-12. Ann Welsh and Morgan Rathmel are unable to make the trip and their places will be filled by Sandy Brown and Dodie Bull, respectively.

This year's volunteers for our 2016 events were treated to lunch and 18 holes of golf at Tomahawk Hills Golf Course on October 1. The weather was great and the course was challenging. Thank you to these members who make EWGA possible!

Brooke Robel
Meet Brooke Robel who is new to our KC chapter but not new to EWGA and who has already been elected to our 2017 Board. "...as someone that moved from Washington, D.C. to Tennessee five years ago and then to Kansas City last year, being able to join golf leagues and meet new people has been a Godsend.
