“Belgian aesthete Axel Vervoordt’s interventions at this expertly
preserved palazzo are never less than breathtaking.  A mix of periods,
genres and media yields gorgeous surprises and delightful relationships.”
Eve Macsweeney and Mark Guiducci, Vogue

Celebrating the cultural excellence, Adrastus Collection would like to express our honest felicitation to the The Axel & May Vervoordt Foundation and the Fondazione Musei Civici who have received the award of “Best exhibition of the year” for PROPORTIO.

Curated by Axel Vervoordt and Daniela Ferretti, the exhibition PROPORTIO analyzed the role that proportion plays in our lives and the complex universe in which we live. By examining wide-ranging and diverse representations found in art, nature, physics, economics, history, science, music, medicine and many other subjects, the study of proportion uncovers the natural patterns that are used everything in the material world.

We feel delighted to see that Adrastus Collection’s artworks from Gabriel Sierra and Tomás Saraceno lent for this exhibition were appreciated by more than 65,000 visitors, changing the sensible memories of each one of them. Projects like PROPORTIO confer exciting lifeblood to Adrastus Collection.

Best regards,
Adrastus Collection
