Gymfest limbers up for celebration in Perth
Due to popular demand, for the very first time Gymfest Perth will take place across a full weekend at Bells Sports Centre, Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th November. Participating in Scotland's premier gymnastics display festival will be over 1000 gymnasts country wide. Joining the event for the very first time will be the junior team from Linlithgow School of Gymnastics, whilst Gymfest stalwarts such as Astro Eden and Spartans Display Team, of Britain's Got Talent fame, will also be adding to the weekend spectacular. Spectator tickets are now on sale, starting from just £5. Gymfest Perth 2015 sold out 4 weeks in advance, so order early to avoid disappointment!

Awards shortlist unveiled
The Scottish Gymnastics’ annual awards, being held in Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Garden on Saturday 12th November, will recognise and reward the hard work of our members who make a positive impact on our sport. Shortlists for the seven award categories, ranging from 'Club of the Year' to 'Young Coach of the Year', have now been announced and tickets for the event, which include a three-course meal, are now on sale.

Team GB touch down in Maribor
Team GB gymnasts have arrived in Maribor, Slovenia ahead of the 11th European TeamGym 2016 Championships. Following a series of zonal squads and selection events, a total of 65 gymnasts were selected to represent Great Britain, including 9 Scottish athletes. The opening ceremony takes place today ahead of qualification rounds for the juniors. We'll be keeping you up to date with the event on social media as it unfolds.

Flying high at trampoline champs
Murray Findlay (Edinburgh Spirals) and Katie Gallacher (Alba) were last month crowned the men's and women’s trampolining champions, whilst Fraser McLeod (Two Foot Higher) and Kim Beattie (Banchory) won the coveted DMT titles. Getting ready to take a tumble in Perth
The pinnacle event in the Scottish tumbling calendar, the 2016 National Championships, will take place in Bells Sports Centre, Perth on Saturday 22nd October. With gymnasts hurtling down the track executing somersaults, flips and twists, all linked together one right after the other, this is an event not to be missed. Spectator tickets will be available on the door.

Northern Euros teams announced
Scottish Gymnastics is delighted to announce the men's and women's artistic gymnasts and team officials who will represent Scotland at the Northern European Championships. The annual Championships will this year be held in Trondheim, Norway on 22-23rd October.
