You know how things fall into place sometimes? You hear what you've heard before but this time you really listen and you're moved to action.

That just happened to me. Inspired by three clients who have made great use of 30 day challenges, two for their art (which is their business) and one for interior design, I did a 30 day challenge for making videos in my business.

Honestly, I learned as much about making videos as I did about my presence, my persistence, and the value of my group. The "Glisten Circle" hails from Spain, Ireland, and the east, west and southern coasts of the U.S. That's my first article

The other article is a well thought out but fast read. "46 small steps to save time" includes ideas I've used in our life along with some the clients use. I've chosen ones which are not the usual fare, so I'm sure you'll find a few new ways to take back some time for yourself, especially as we move into heavy holidays season.

What do you need to focus on? And do you dare ask yourself what you want? Do you hear that voice?

P.S. Self-employed? Getting energy, momentum, organization and accountability around goals is a key reason people work with me. Another benefit is better work-life balance. Coaching - Client comments

(used with permission)

"These meetings with Sue have brought me clarity, have helped me set and accomplish business and personal goals, satisfaction of completion, but most of all “Time” to do some of things I enjoy doing. She has helped me stop the juggling act."

What I’ve Learned: My 30 Day Video Marketing Challenge

Who knew I could learn as much about myself in what seemed like a simple 30 day video marketing challenge! Like so many other things we try or do in life, this is an “inside job” as much as it is about the practicalities of video marketing. This challenge is free and I have to tell you; it is worth more than some paid classes I’ve taken. Here is some of what I’ve learned, and as usual, I’ve tied the practical with the internal aspects of what I’ve learned. And with a sense of humor.

Try to read it on two levels: (1) the video marketing challenge experience (2) how that relates to our presence in general. Much of this is generally true, not just for a 30 day challenge with video. That’s why it’s been so fascinating to me.

46 Small Steps to Save Time

Let goBelow is my ever-growing “simple ways to save time” list. These are small, mostly easy ways to save time. No big overhauls. Small things to simplify.
  1. Do less: For home: You might be surprised at how reasonable some of these services are, because our culture is changing:  Sign up for the automatic membership with your HVAC service. They call you and you don’t need to remember to make the calls. Try the grocery service delivery or the packaged meal concept. It doesn’t need to be every week, though it can be. Trash pickup: Think of the hours it would save.
