On September 29, 2016, we hosted the Veteran Employment Strategy Summit and delivered our Combat to Community training to nearly 90 HR professionals from over 70 different organization.

The Stand Down brought in veterans from across the greater nine-county Bay Area. Swords to Plowshares staff were able to meet with many veterans who were unfamiliar with the services we provide.
Attorneys seeking meaningful pro bono opportunities and any advocate who wants to help change the life of a veteran with a disability will need to meet the VA’s CLE requirements for new and continuing VA accreditation. On November 14th, we will be co-hosting this training with the Practising Law Institute.
