The Haven at Skanda

On October 16, 2016 from 1 to 4 pm, The Haven at Skanda will hold a fundraising event at the historic mansion, the Hillcrest Jephson Estate in Cazenovia, to raise much-needed funds as they prepare to care and protect vulnerable animals and provide preventative services this winter.
Stable Investment Workshop

NYS Center for Equine Business Development at Cazenovia College will be hosting a workshop entitled "Maximizing Profit Potential in your Boarding Barn Business". The workshop is being led by Amy Sherrick-vonSchiller, Associate Professor of Equine Business Management at Cazenovia College, and will begin at 7:00 pm at the Equine Education Center, 4460 Woodfield Road, Cazenovia.

Equine Workshop

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County is pleased to announce registration is now open to equine owners for an upcoming workshop. This educational workshop, will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on October 26th, will each discuss a unique facet of equine ownership. The Equine Hoof Health and Care workshop on October 26th will be led by Doug Corey, Certified Farrier, as he discusses a variety of topics including chips and thrown shoes, abscesses and bruises...caring for them 101.

Cultivated Mushrooms - An Update
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Onondaga County partnered to offer an Introduction to Cultivated Mushrooms Workshop on Thursday evening, September 29th, 2016.
