We've revamped our Skip a Payment program. Now, you can skip a loan payment any time you like—not just during the holiday season—for only $35. You can skip a payment on any consumer loan, excluding mortgage and home equity loans.

It’s easier than you think—and Heritage Grove is here to help!

Step 1. Call Heritage Grove and get pre-approved for your auto loan. This way, you'll know exactly what you can afford. We can get you pre-approved and ready to go shopping—usually the same day. Plus, your pre-approval is good for 60 days, ensuring you'll have plenty of time to shop around.

Step 2. Do your homework. Visit consumer and manufacturer’s websites to learn about the safety, reliability and gas mileage of your preferred vehicle. Visit our Vehicle Loan Tools page to verify the vehicle’s value with Kelly Blue Book or NADA. You can also check out Heritage Grove’s Car-Buying Service, powered by TRUECar®, which allows you to see what other people have paid for the same vehicle and where to find it.

Step 3: Be a smart shopper. Know what additional protection or features you might want when you go into the dealership. Do you want GAP protection? (Hint: If you are financing 80% or more, the answer is yes, you do!) Will the factory warranty cover everything, or do you want to add a mechanical breakdown policy? How much are you willing to add to your payment, and what makes financial sense in your circumstance?

Don't forget that you will pay DMV fees—$77 if it is already registered and tagged, $194 if it is coming in out of state—and an additional fee to the dealership for facilitating this for you.
