Welcome to the new club year!
Thanks to those who have already re-joined Severn Vale. The 2016/17 promises to be a fun-filled one.
If you haven't renewed yet, online membership is now open! So if you want to continue to benefit from our diverse range of events, make sure you renew yours. Once you've renewed (or re-joined if you weren't a member last year), you'll be able to take part in any of the activities we hold from now until October 2017.
Don't forget, as a member you must complete at least four hours volunteer hours for the club over the membership year! You can do this at rallies and shows.
Changes to rally bookings and payments
From December, you can enter rallies online via Equo. Register FREE at www.equoevents.com to enter rallies quickly and securely. Once registered, you can book rallies from our Equo booking page >>
You can continue to pay for rallies by Paypal, but you must follow the usual booking process and wait until your space is confirmed before you make payment.
If you have any concerns, or are unable to use the system for any reason, please contact us.
Winter rallies
Rallies for November, December and January. December and January rallies can can be booked using our new rally-booking system Equo.

Don't forget, you must re-join the club before you can take part in any rallies. Please clear up after yourself and your horse and make sure you park respectfully.
Dressage Championships and Members Dressage Show
We have combined our Christmas members show with the dressage championships from our Burrows Court series. The event will be held at Leyland Court Farm on Sunday 4 December.
Classes cost £10 for members. All proceeds to be donated to local rider

Camp, 9-12 June, Pontispool
Camp is now open to those who want to book the Longbarn. Space is limited to 12 people and is first come, first come basis. Bookable by payment in full £170. Please send cheques to Northwood Farm, Swan Land, Winterbourne, Bristol, BS36 1RW. Payable to Severn Vale Riding Club. More camp details to follow in the next issue.
Build your confidence short course
Don't forget our Debbie Hill confidence talk this Thursday, 7.30pm at the Miners, Coalpit Heath. Following the talk, we are offering a course of sessions with Debbie. There will be three unmounted evening sessions, followed by a mounted session in a competition environment at Burrows Court. The sessions will cost £70 for all four, or £22 each. They will start in February and open to all. Please contact Katherine Hills to register your interest.
Centaur Biomechanics session - 17 Jan
We have a limited number of spaces for 45 minute rider analysis sessions at Kite's Nest Farm (TBC). The session will evaluate your position and provide you with feedback from outlining key areas to work on. Each session is £65. Please contact Carolyn to book, 07771902716.
