Bring any fiction book you've read in English and tell others why you would (or wouldn't) recommend it. Everybody has 5 minutes to present their book. Then the participants make a list of suggestions how to encourage our students to read in English.

English country dance workshop and ball
Nov 5, Sýpka, Kytnerova 1, 10 am - midnight
Experience a ball like in Jane Austen's times! From 10 am to 5 pm there will be an English country dance workshop and from 7.30 pm a ball with dance instructions. Previous dance knowledge is not required. Period attire is welcome but not necessary.

Annual festival of French movies is coming to Kino Scala. Films are screened in French with Czech (sometimes English) subtitles or Czech dubbing, tickets cost 100 CZK.
