Meet Steph Lindsey!

Photographer, filmmaker, and newly certified unicorn.  Steph is Creative Queen B at Big Bad Bettie Press and co-curator of the first issue of Rabbit Rabbit.  It's only natural that she become our new social media voice!  Steph has been in on this adventure since the beginning, 1 year ago.  Her strong voice and keen eye helped shape our first book and she continues to guide our innovative experiment with her knowledge, creativity, and laughter.

As an artist, Steph's work focuses on the collective identity of African-Americans.  She received a BA in film from Howard University, a BFA in photography from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.  She has been featured as an emerging artist in Exposure magazine and has shown her work in several shows nationally, including the Museum of African Diaspora and the Southeast Museum of Photography.  She is an avid collector of random obscure moments, lover of all things salted caramel, and a damn good photographer.  Always entertaining, never boring, and clever as ever, follow us as Steph takes over @bigbadbettiepress !!
