  • Baraka, in a Q & A with Melissa Jackson, talked about his dream that Newark become a place where coders would be inspired to undertake civic tech projects to make the city better.
  • To make this dream more of a reality, Baraka announced a hackathon with a $50,000 prize, for coders to develop an app or software project for women's safety.
  • More than 200 enthusiastic tech entrepreneurs, professionals and students gathered at the Asbury Park Hotel Friday for the sixth annual Asbury Agile.
