Decision 2016

This has been an election for the books. And we're finally nearing Election Day -- less than a month until the madness is over. Lately The Donald-HRC contest has taken over everything, but let us not forget the primary and the circus that was. It's all been documented in some fun, shocking and highly interactive ways. A somewhat irreverent take from Slate on some of the silliest, cruel, humorous things these GOP candidates have said during this election is one of my favorite pieces in the pool of online election coverage. (Be sure to search for Chris Christie's chortle.)

Rock the vote

  • Quiz time! Map out how you think the electoral vote will play out with this interactive WSJ map.
  • The LA Times lays out a similar electoral vote election map concept.
  • Look through Trump lawsuits and then browse his insults.
  • Who's endorsed Donald Trump. And who's dropped him.
  • It's like Mad Libs for campaign ads!
  • The primaries have come and gone, but so much great stuff was generated, especially to track the endless list of GOP candidates. Look back with this HuffPost Highline piece
  • Search through the candidates' social media photos. Organized beautifully by Fusion in the Political Image Machine.
  • And finally: Who will be president? Let the NYT's Upshot break down the chances.
