So many things have happened since last month’s newsletter.
Our monthly meetings are, as always, 2nd Thursday of the month 6.30pm at the Old Redcliffe Fire Station Ground level – Hub Volunteer meeting room, a great big comfortable space.
” Hope to see you” this Thursday night 13th Oct - members and friends are all welcome.

An open invitation to members to Meet the Artists on 13th October “She does Mondays” exhibition at the stage door Gallery from 10am to 11am. All welcome!
Another Stage Door Gallery Exhibition commences for MBAC member Jennifer Redmond “Exploration through Art” on show from 20th October - 14th November.
MBAC website will commence listing “Performing Arts” events & shows etc. under its own heading to accommodate the regional choirs, theatre, dance, poetry and drama groups.
Samford & Surrounds Art and Studio Trails has met to commence planning 2017 trails. MBAC always supports the creative community and congratulates these committed artists and Creative Samford Group.
YOU HAVE ASKED FOR an Arts & Creatives Directory for the Moreton Bay Region. We, the Moreton Bay Arts Council has commenced laying the foundation for this 2017 project. It includes a listing for all regional artists and groups, arts workers, studios, galleries, in short, all Visual, Design and Performing Arts creatives across the region.
Congratulations to The Dayboro Gallery, who is getting a new building – the doors closed on 9th October. The Moreton Bay Regional Council has generously agreed to replace the Dayboro Gallery building after it was deemed unsafe owing to age and regular flood waters.
Until the new building is completed in early 2017 the members will show their art at:
Dayboro - The 1st Sunday of each month, operating from the Credit Union Building opposite the Dayboro Markets.
Redcliffe - Artwork from Dayboro members will be showing at the Redcliffe Cultural Centre “Stage Door Gallery” upstairs level from 20th October until 12th December 2016.
