ERIGrid Opens First Call for Transnational Access:

Apply for Free Access to Europe’s Leading
Smart Grid Research Infrastructure
If you are looking for sophisticated smart grid infrastructure with top know-how and innovative installations for conducting your own experimental research, then ERIGrid offers an invaluable opportunity for you.
Up to 15 December, 2016, the ERIGrid project welcomes applications for its first call for transnational access: Users from research, academia and industry are invited to apply for free access to top European smart grid research laboratories of ERIGrid partners.

Successful applicants will gain free access to ERIGrid testing and simulation facilities, backed by concentrated know-how and best practices in the field of smart grid systems and Distributed Energy Resources (DER), for example:

  • Power system components characterisation and evaluation
  • Smart grid ICT / Automation validation
  • Co-simulation
  • Real-time simulation and Power/Controller Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL)

About ERIGrid
As a pan-European research infrastructure, ERIGrid supports the technology development as well as the rollout of smart grid solutions and concepts in Europe.
The project tackles a holistic, cyber-physical systems based approach by integrating 18 European research centres and institutions with outstanding research infrastructures and jointly develops common methods, concepts, and procedures.
ERIGrid also integrates and enhances the necessary research services for analysing, validating and testing smart grid configurations. System level support and education for industrial and academic researchers is provided as well to foster future innovation.
