Calling All Alphas

We look forward to see you at UMD's Homecoming.  There are many Homecoming events but here is our focus:
 
Alpha Tailgating
Our primary focus will be the UMD Homecoming Football game vs. Northern State on Saturday October 15.  We will be hosting a family friendly tailgating event near the stadium beginning at 11am after the campus parade.  We have the prime spots in the lot for the Bulldog Walk where the football team, band, cheerleaders and Champ parade into the stadium.  The Walk has become a UMD highlight. These spots are also near the Family Fun Carnival and the Chariot competition that the Active Chapter is entering.

Your attendance is also encouraged to meet and bolster the Active Chapter. Wear Alpha gear if you have it. Joining us also will be representatives from the UMD Athletic Department and the Women's Cross Country team that we have supported. Plan to renew the bonds of brotherhood, to see a great football game and to get reacquainted with our dynamic campus and Active Chapter.
 
We will be serving the best tailgating lunch at UMD for a nominal fee for adults with a reduced fee for children.
 
TAILGATING MENU:

• B Dewey’s famous BBQed Chicken breasts
• Bratwurst Patties/ Hot dogs
• Deaner’s Homemade Slaw
• Grilled Bacon and Beans
• Cucumber Salad
• Watermelon
• Beer and pop provided

We will also make plans for a post game get together at one of Duluth's great restaurants or taverns.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15 HOMECOMING EVENTS

• Alumni Intramural Hockey Game 9am on campus at the UMD Sports and Health Center Ice Rink
• Homecoming Parade 10am on campus (see map) 
• Tailgate & Bulldog Walk 11am by Malosky Stadium
• Family Fun Carnival
• Chariot Races
• Football v. Northern State, 1:05pm at Malosky Stadium
• Volleyball v. MSU Moorhead, 4pm at Romano Gym
• Join the Bulldogs of the Last Decade (BOLD) for "A Very BOLD Homecoming Happy Hour", 4:30-6:30pm at Grandmas Sports Garden in the Bayview Room
• Black Student Association Date-A-Palooza, 5:30pm in the Kirby Rafters
• Men’s Hockey v. Notre Dame, 7pm at Amsoil Arena
