Working with the Chicago Tribune, CUMC scientists used data mining techniques and cellular testing to show that a common pair of drugs increases risk for a fatal heart condition.

2017 benefits open enrollment begins Oct. 31. Stay informed by visiting the CUMC Benefits Expo on Nov. 2 at Hammer Health Sciences Center or by exploring HR’s online resources for officers and support staff. The expo includes mini information sessions and preventive health screenings for employees. Officers also are invited to attend information sessions at CUMC on Oct. 17 and 26.

Free flu vaccination is available to faculty and staff through Workforce Health & Safety; click here to view dates, times, and locations. Students enrolled in the Student Health Service (SHS) may receive free flu vaccination at 60 Haven Ave. For more information about the flu vaccination program, check the FAQs or contact CUMC Human Resources or the SHS
