Your Community, Your Planet! It's been an exceptionally dry Autumn - piles of crisp leaves everywhere - perfect for cycling, gardening and cleanups.
Our projects and services...
Join the Gardening Team: We are hosting a six week volunteer session at the Kingsway Court Community Gardens every Thursday until 1 December. Sessions run from 10am to 1pm and lunch will be provided.
St Paul's growing their own at Kingsway Garden: Pupils from St Paul’s Primary in Whiteinch recently popped back along to the Kingsway garden to harvest the vegetables they planted earlier in the year.
Workshop makeover: After the busiest ever summer our staff and volunteers dedicated a week to giving it a big makeover. We have had great feedback from the volunteers and customers and we celebrated with some tea and cake!
Green Gym: The West Glasgow Green Gym will be at the following areas each Wednesday
- 23 Nov – Kelvin Walkway Kelvinbridge to Belmont St
- 30 Nov – Nature Trail, Jordanhill
- 7, 14 Dec - Yoker Allotments
Scotstoun Clean Up: Scotstoun Community Council
are holding a Community clean up - meeting point is
Cafe Taste, 1515 Dumbarton Road, G14 9XQ on Sat 19 Nov at 10am.

Petition to save the No 4/4A bus route: over 3,000 people have signed the petition and there have been some
recent updates posted on the petition online page.
Road Safety Week 2016: This year's Road Safety Week will focus on
the six elements of the Brake Pledge:
Slow, Sober, Secure, Silent, Sharp and Sustainable.
Petition to save Broomhill Avenue Greenspace: This green space
is under threat from development and the Friends of Broomhill Avenue Greenspace have set up a petition.
Partick West Decides community budgeting event: The Partick West Area Partnership are holding a
second Community Budgeting event on
Fri 25 Nov. People are encouraged to come along and help decide whioch projects will get funding.
Walkable Communities workshop: Living Streets Scotland is hosting a
free half-day workshop in Glasgow on
Thu 17 Nov at the Albany Centre.
