Today is the 20th ANNIVERSARY of the first time a song of mine was played on "THE DR. DEMENTO SHOW"! The song was the original version of "What's Up Spock?" from my first studio recorded album "Fanboys 'N Da Hood". I can safely say that everything great that has happened in my life since then (career, friends, life-partners) all would never had come to be if it were not for my being allowed to participate in this decades-long institution of mad music and crazy comedy. So to Barret Hansen, a.k.a. Dr. Demento, a sincere and heartfelt thank you for being such a good mentor, supporter, and friend for all these years.
