Resort Update

I think you all heard….but Killington is open for skiing and riding!
Today, we hope to have our first terrain expansion of the season, dropping the rope on Upper East Fall - an addition that will give us two distinct and complete runs, Rime under the North Ridge Triple and Reason to Upper East Fall next door. All open terrain gets a fresh pass from the groomers overnight, and snowmaking will continue into Thursday morning.

The Killington Parks crew kicked off their season Wednesday with a surprisingly robust offer, unveiling eight fresh features in the Reason Park, which will also sport fresh corduroy on Thursday morning.
Looking ahead, we should have favorable snowmaking conditions for another day or so before milder weather arrives for the weekend. In order to maximize base depth during this weather window, snowmaking will continue during operating hours on open terrain, please use caution and visit www.killington.com/conditions for updates.

Buy a Piece of Killington’s History
In 1961 when the Snowshed lifts were ordered the lift company thought there must have been some mistake!  The slope seemed too shallow.  They  had never received an order for a chairlift to be built on such a flat hill!  Well, Pres built it; pioneering the idea of catering to beginners and it has gotten a lot of use!  Now Snowshed II has been removed to clear the way for summer activities and you can own a piece of the history.  We have approximately 150 double chairs up for sale from the disassembled Snowshed lift. The price is $300 (plus tax) and can be paid using cash or credit card.   Chairs will be sold on a first come first serve basis and the purchaser is responsible for the transport of the chair.  Visit Killington Sports at Route 4 during business hours to purchase. Open daily 10-5.

Specials
All Active Duty, Retired and Honorably Discharged members of the U.S. Military who visit Killington on Veteran's Day, Friday, November 11, will receive a complimentary lift ticket.  Veteran’s all season are also eligible to receive a free Killington/Pico Express Card. Just present a valid U.S. Military, U.S. Retired Military I.D., a copy of your DD214 form (photo ID required) or discharge certificate (photo ID required) at the Snowshed or Ramshead Sales Center or K-1 Guest Services.

Local Yokel and Wobbly Appreciation Deals will be November 11 &12 – all guests enjoy 50% off entrees at the Wobbly Barn.
