40 Days of Common Purpose
Mission: Using Our Gifts to Make Earth More Like Heaven
This Sunday, we continue our series "40 Days of Common Purpose" as we explore what it means to "use our gifts to make Earth more like Heaven."
We will be back in Glastonbury at the Community Center this week, but will be gathering in the smaller "Excercise Room" due to other events at the Community Center.
The service will be followed by a congregational meeting to discuss, process and pray about the potential move to The 224 in Hartford. We really want to hear everyone's voice and encourage you to attend and share. (Snack bags will be provided for kids during this time.)

Virtue : Courage
Bible Story: Joshua & Caleb, Numbers 13-14
Bottom Line: You can do what you should even when others are afraid.
We will all face times when the people around us are scared or making unwise choices. This week, kids will be inspired by Joshua and Caleb, who trusted God to give them the courage to do what was right, even when all of their peers were freaking out and not trusting God.

CLASS 301: SHAPE
Class 301 is designed to help you discover your God-given SHAPE for ministry, by looking at the areas of Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Ability, Personality & Experience. The goal of Class 301 is to help you either to start serving in a ministry at RFC or in the community, or better equip you for areas you are already serving in. (Childcare available, lunch provided). Class 301 will meet at the Church Office (located on the MACC Campus, 456 1/2 Main Street, Manchester CT)

Hurricane Matthew Relief
Please be praying for the areas most severely impacted by Hurricane Matthew. This Sunday, and all month. our Prayer Station/Cause will be focused on hurricane relief efforts. Specifically this Sunday, we will focus on relief in Haiti through the organization Partners in Health, which has an excellent infrastructure and staff presence on the ground in Haiti.

Our next opportunity to serve as a team at the MACC Community Kitchen will be Saturday, Oct 29th, from 9am to 1:45pm. Light food prep, serving the meal and cleaning up.
