High School Student Internship Program

Mayor's Office Internship Program, which are available to:
1. High School Students aged 16 or older, working papers must be current and available at the time of application
2. Persons currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a two-to-four year accredited institution
Recent graduates, no more than two years before the first day of the internship, from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a two-to-four year accredited institution
3. Veterans of the United States Armed Forces who possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and has served on active duty, for any length of time, in the two years preceding the first day of the internship
Don't wait until the last minute to apply. Recommendations and 2 essays are required.

The Mayor’s Office Internship Program Spring 2017 application is open! The internship program provides a unique opportunity to gain experience and develop the capacity to solve New York City’s most pressing issues. The mission of the program is to build a diverse pipeline of public service leaders. The Mayor’s Office Internship Program offers interns opportunities for professional development through workshops, government engagement and real world experience.
The application deadline is November 13th.
