NEW CA Local School Wellness Policy Collaborative Webpage!

In an ongoing effort to support and inspire wellness teams across the state, we’ve launched our new webpage at HealthyEating.org/CASchoolWellness, which includes a number of resources to help activate your Local School Wellness Policy (LSWP).

According to California Principals and School Administrators, the top four priorities in school health and wellness are mental health, nutrition, bullying, and physical education/physical activity. Find out what action steps California schools can take to properly and efficiently develop and implement LSWPs.

Is your district on track to meeting USDA’s LSWP requirements? Our Committee Guide provides suggested steps, timelines, and resources so you can establish and maintain a successful wellness team.

Are you implementing Smarter Lunchroom Movement (SLM) strategies but haven't written it into your policy just yet? Look no further, download your SLM sample language here.

Discover what other districts are doing to elevate school wellness and share your story with us.
