On 9 October 2016, Adelaide's Sunday Mail published an article by ABC Radio host and newspaper columnist, Peter Goers.  It's title is Aside from its hatred of Palestinians, Israel has scant regard for Australian sacrifice.

The article is about Peter's recent visit to Israel to research Australian military history from World War I.  He writes "I wanted to see Be’er Sheva. On October 31, 1917, the Australian Light Horse – supported by New Zealand and British troops – took what was then known as Beersheba, a Turkish stronghold in the Negev Desert, in the last great cavalry charge. It’s a hot, dusty hellhole. Modern Be’er Sheva – with its 350,000 souls – is the ugliest place I’ve ever seen...."

Peter goes on to lament the state in which he found the Park of the Australian Soldier.  He also dares to refer to Israel's "long persecution of Palestinians", quoting Ilan Pappe who wrote  “South Africa invented apartheid. Israel perfected it.”  >> You can read Peter's full article here

Peter has since been slammed by Zionist media in Australia and elsewhere and there have been a number of letters to the editor of the Sunday Mail condemning the article and accusing Peter of antisemitism.

Please write to the editor of the Sunday Mail and to ABC Radio management expressing your support for Peter and congratulating the Sunday Mail and the ABC on their willingness to allow the airing of a narrative that is rarely permitted in mainstream Australian media.
