Survey - Population Needs Assessment
As part of the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act the UHB are undertaking a Population needs assessment for Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. They are keen to understand care and support needs in the area, and have been engaging members of the public and service users.  They would now like to understand the views of key professional stakeholders and partner organisations.

An online survey is available for individuals and organisations working in Cardiff and the Vale to give their professional views on care and support needs in the area, and would be grateful if you could take a few minutes filling in the questionnaire.  You will be able to indicate if you are answering on behalf of your organisation, or in your individual professional role.  Your experiences and views are important to the UHB, and all responses will contribute directly to the assessment.

Meaningful Change
Glasdir, Llanrwst
Friday 11 November 2016, 10am - 5pm

In light of the Well-being of Future Generations Act and the Social Services and Wellbeing Act, in Wales we have an unprecedented opportunity to shape public service delivery and build community resilience in ways that will significantly benefit future generations.

Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) , Co-Production Network for Wales and Spice Time Credits invite you to join us for a one-day participatory event in Glasdir, Llanrwst. Through a combination of keynote speakers, dynamic workshops, plenary & networking sessions, we will explore practical approaches for working together on initiatives that put this innovative legislation into practice.

The final agenda for the day will shortly be made available via the Meaningful Change Eventbrite, but will involve opportunities to:
  • Learn about inspirational examples where co-production has been effectively adopted within services, and the funding models and research underpinning success.
  • Discuss ways that we can increasingly involve people in the design and delivery of services for education, community, health & social care and older people.
  • Gain a greater understanding of the agenda behind Wales' Well-being Goals and what these mean for the public and voluntary sectors.
  • Explore ways we can work together across the sectors to make this happen.
Feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues, but spaces for the event are ticketed, so please book your place via this Eventbrite link.

We hope you can make it!
