The ICABA Business Forum, on Friday, Oct. 21, delivers valuable information, opportunities and activates profitable relationships among successful entrepreneurs and professionals of color. The day-long forum is filled with workshops and blended with high-level networking with keynote speakers such as Sandy Michael McDonald,Director of Broward County Office of Economic & Small Business Development; and Mark Gale,Director of Broward County Aviation.
On Tuesday, October 25, learn about incentive programs, future development plans, investments and redevelopment opportunities for business owners in three distinct neighborhoods: Historic Sistrunk, Progresso Village, and Flagler Village.
Artists are encouraged to apply to the South Florida Cultural Consortium (SFCC) Visual and Media Artists Fellowship Program. Applicants’ artworks are judged by a regional then national panel of arts professionals. If selected, artists are awarded $7,000 or $15,000 and featured in the Consortium’s annual juried five-county exhibition. The deadline for applications is Monday, October 31.
