Finnish Nuclear Science and Technology Symposium 2016

- Suomalaisen ydintekniikan Päivät (SYP) 2016 -

2-3 November 2016, Marina Congress Center, Helsinki
This year's most significant nuclear science and industrial event in Finland. Join the audience of over 180 professionals for the interesting program and meet the companies.
The symposium is organized by Finnish Nuclear Society as their 50th anniversary event. Keynote speakers include Toni Hemminki (CEO, Fennovoima Oy), Tiina Tuomela (Executive Vice President, Fortum Oyj), Jarmo Tanhua (CEO, TVO Oyj), Juhani Hyvärinen (Professor, LUT), Eugene Schwageraus (Senior Lecturer, Cambridge University) and Filip Tuomisto (Professor, Aalto University). Supply process of the safety classified mechanical component

Autumn 2016

This training package opens up the nuclear supply and licensing process in Finland from subcontractors perspective through a real case study of a mechanical component. The training is suitable for all subcontractors and professionals who are working in the Finnish nuclear projects.

ASME NQA-1 Overview and Lead Auditor training

April 2017

An essential course for quality professionals in the nuclear industry, carried out by an experienced instructor from the USA. NQA-1 training provides an overview and interpretation of nuclear industry standard ASME NQA-1-Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications.

It will be organized only if there's enough interest from the members.
