This week we will examine the famous “Son of Man” prediction by Daniel and see how this relates back to Jesus Christ. In particular, we will examine Jesus’ own reference to Himself as the “Son of Man” in predicting the destruction of Jerusalem’s Temple and His glorious return in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. In doing so, we will specifically look at what are the “signs” of Jesus’ coming again. There are a variety of views which scholars and pastors take here, so I will do my best to navigate these difficult and tricky passages. However, my main contention is that the most significant “sign” of Christ’s return is the one many prophecy teachers seem to neglect: the successful completion of the Great Commission.

- Learn about the church and our vision, become a partner in the work of the gospel and live out the mission of Jesus to reach, bless & serve others.

Sun., Nov. 20 :: 12:30-2p :: Fellowship Hall
- Understand how it is that God has “wired” you to do His work in the world. This will be an encouraging time of learning about what Spiritual Gifts are, how God calls us to serve Him and then do an inventory to help you discover the unique way that God has wired/called you to serve Him.
NOTE :: Both classes can be taken independently of each other; however, if you desire to become a member at CCCov, please plan to take both classes.
Lunch will be served at both classes. Participants are encouraged to make any prior arrangements for childcare.

Missionary of the Month
Ken & Diann Goodyear
Ken and Diann Goodyear work with Navigators Ministry. Their ministry is designed to help people get under the waterline in their lives to understand what drives their self protective behavior. We all self protect because of our woundedness. It is difficult on our own to get to the core reasons we behave the way we do in certain situations. Their ministry is designed to help us get to those core areas in our lives to get some healing from the wounds and surrender to God the things we do to make our lives work. We want to learn to depend on God for those things.
Prayer Requests:
- Ken and Diann are wanting to multiply the type of soul care ministry they are involved with. This will result in seeing less people weekly. Please pray for wisdom on who to meet with and who not to meet with for soul care, and how to best train people for this type of ministry.
We believe God is doing some amazing things already and we're excited to join Him as we continue on this journey He has for us. Will you and your family be part?
