To celebrate the anniversary signing of the Fenton Agreement, Rotorua Museum will open its doors FREE of charge to ALL visitors on Friday 25 November 2016.

Rotorua Museum will also host local historian Ben Manley for a powerful and engaging talk on the history of the Fenton Agreement.

In this fascinating free talk, Rotorua Museum’s lead exhibitions curator, Ane Tonga shares her expert knowledge on the Dutch born, Rotorua based artist Walter Bakkenes.

Ane will lead you through a diverse range of his artworks, ephemera and sketches which reflect his fascinating life.

Da Vinci Machines and Robots opens 10 December 2016. This interactive exhibition includes replicas of more than 80 machines and robots devised by Da Vinci over 500 years ago.
