There is no Dana. Only Zuul... and Stay Puft

“I tried to think of the most harmless thing. Something I loved from my childhood. Something that could never, ever possibly destroy us: Mr. Stay Puft… We used to roast Stay Puft marshmallows by the fire at Camp Wauconda.”

If you're not a Ghostbusters fan, the above makes no sense to you. If you are, or even if you just love marshmallows and beer, then have we got a treat for you: Tiny Rebel Stay Puft Marshmallow Porter! It's in store now - marshmallows and beer, together at last. Are you the Keymaster?

In other new beery highlights,
Pressure Drop's cracking brown ale Stokey Brown heralds the advent of autumn proper, as do a trio of beautifully presented beers from Berkshire brewery Two Cocks. You'll be able to spot these from the feathers on the bottles - Musket Bitter, Leveller Bitter and Puritan Stout are lovely old-school style beers that make great gifts, or just treat yourself.

Speaking of treats, if you've been good, your reward is two very special collabs from
Omnipollo - Polimango, a "beach-ready IPA" with Brazil brewery Tupiniquim, and Anagram, a blueberry cheese cake stout. with Dugges.

Also, we have extremely limited stocks of
Cloudwater v8 DIPA. We won't be doing any saves, so please run, don't walk, to the shop, or make an order at the online shop

Lastly, our famous
HBB1 Hopped & Burning Sauce is back - and stay tuned for the launch of our brand new beery collab sauce in the next couple of weeks, just in time for Christmas...

For the rest of the new arrivals, check out the
Beer Menu page on our website, our Untappd page or check the Just Added section of our online shop.
Grip and grin (and win)
Please forgive us a brief episode of own-trumpet-blowing, but we were beyond delighted and not a little gobsmacked to be named London Retailer of the Year at the Celebrate British Beer Awards, held at the Houses of Parliament on Monday night. That's Jen and Glenn, above, rocking the classic "grip and grin" shot with MP Andrew Griffiths from the All Party Parliamentary Beer Group (APPBG).

Judged by a panel of beer writers, sommeliers and industry experts, it's a wonderful accolade to have under our belt as we come up to our second birthday next month and a real testament to the team's hard work. Congratulations to the other winners around the country and all the shortlisted outlets, and sincere thanks to the organisers Off Licence News and the APPBG.

(On an awards note, please chuck us a vote in the Time Out Love London Awards if you haven't already. We're nominated in the Peckham Shop category and now is the time we really need your votes as the voting closes at the end of the month. Please head here and click the little heart button next to our name.)
Chilli Karaoke goes south - THIS FRIDAY

Try to sing your song.
Be in to win a £150 HB&B voucher.

It's that easy. (Apart from the chilli-eating thing.)

See you tomorrow, from 8pm, at the Old Nun's Head.
New chilli wonderwall
Our chilli shelves have been redesigned (c/o our good friend Geoff at Re-fuze). As well as being lighter and brighter, you'll now be able to quickly find hot sauces from London, the rest of the UK and further afield, as well as a new section that shines the spotlight on our sauces of the week.

This week, we're going with an orange theme and profiling  some cracking sauces from around the world. Bee Sting "Quasi-Thai" Sriracha is a spicier, honey-sweetened version of the iconic table sauce, Orange Krush Habanero is a hugely flavourful sauce that features an all-spice mix (including ginger, mace and cardamom) to bring out the punch, and don't miss the limited edition, hand-numbered Fire Dragon New Zealand Chilli Eating Champs 2016 sauce, packed with Carolina Reapers, Scorpions, 7 Pots, Ghosts and more. With only 100 bottles ever produced, it's one for the serious hot heads.
