Monthly meeting of the SHL non-fiction Book Club

This coming Sunday, we are going to discuss this month's selection: The End of White Christian America​ by Robert P. Jones (2016, 320 pgs.) The author, CEO of the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI), challenges us to grasp the profound political and cultural consequences of a new reality—that America is no longer a majority white Christian nation. “Quite possibly the most illuminating text for this election year.” (Sam Tanenhaus The New York Times Book Review). 

I look forward to our discussion of this book. Also know that opinions are always valued even if you haven't read the material. We will, as usual, have dinner in a nearby restaurant to keep the discussion going. Please join us!
