God Has Placed His Plumb Line In America

I believe the Lord is saying in this time period that He is re-establishing His Plumbline in our nation as it speaks of in The Word when He did so in Israel. He says, "Behold, I am setting a plumb line In the midst of My people....I will not pass by them anymore." (Amos 7:8)
His plumb line is The Word of God. It is the boundary marker upon which our nation was established and is now being judged. Not the opinions of the media or special interest groups. God is not closing His eyes, looking the other way, nor passing by us in this election season. He is very much involved.
Using The Word of God as our plumb line when voting in this election is vital.
A natural plumb line is a cord weighted with lead that is used in building a structure to ensure that it is lined up properly, is strong, and does not crumble.
Spiritually, the term plumb line is used symbolically to refer to the divine standard against which God, the builder of His people, tests and judges them. It also symbolises the standards by which God will rebuild his people.
God has placed His plumb line in America. If you want to argue about it, your fight will be with Him and His Word. Good luck with that! 😬

How To Plumb Line Our Votes

No one else may see your vote, but God does. And He judges the hearts in America every time we vote.
In Old Testament days, He would send a prophet to anoint a leader, and it was done. But in this day and time, in our nation, our votes appoint our leaders. He gave us His Word as our values plumb line. It is up to us to put it into use. And the Lord showed me that He uses those votes to judge our nation's heart.
If we vote for and put in place someone whose platform we know is contrary to the values in His Word, we are accountable and responsible for the ungodly acts committed because of their platform while they are in charge.
Not voting isn't an option to not get judged. A non vote is counted as a vote for unrighteousness, because we had the opportunity to vote for righteousness and did not.
An independent vote is a wasted vote. You may not like either candidate's personality. But if that's the case, then when you cast your vote, just vote for the platform values and what it stands for, not the person. Take their face and your opinions of them out of it. Compare Biblical guidelines to their platform.

Ask these questions:

Are they pro or against Biblical values?
Are they pro life or pro abortion?
Are they pro or against the homosexual agenda?
Are they pro or against same sex marriage?
Are they pro or against traditional family values?
Are they pro upholding the constitution?
Are they in favor of our second amendment rights to bear arms?
Are they in favor of protecting our borders? (Another Plumb Line issue)
Are they in favor of getting rid of Islamic terrorism?
Will they protect us against dangerous, illegal aliens invading America?
Will they stop nonessential taxing?
Will they be strong against lawlessness?
Are they going to stop the nonsense of sending jobs overseas?
Are they going to stop the nonsense of suppressing Christianity in our nation?
Are they going to put Supreme Court judges in place who protect conservative Christian values or those of the liberal, ungodly agenda?
Will they be a president for the people or for big money corporations in their back pocket?
Are they more concerned about the American people or their own records, politics, and agendas?

The enemy wants to divide and conquer our nation. We must behold, focus on, and keep our focus upon the Lord and stay true to His Plumb Line. Not political correctness. God correctness. His Word.
Colossians 2:8-9
(8) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
(9) For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
We are in the time of both the great and the terrible.
Our plumbline and accountability in America is to be to God and His Word. Not political correctness, pleasing media, special interest groups, people, or even our own opinions. We stand before and answer to a Holy God and His Word. That is our plumb line and boundary marker.
