Red Ribbon Week – this week, October 23 - 31st.  This is a time to put on a red ribbon and show your personal commitment for a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. It is an ideal way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. Each school is participating! If you would like a bowl of ribbons to display at your location, please contact our office.

T-shirts have been delivered to the schools!
Each school is helping us to kick off our 'WE ARE COMMITTED TO A SAFE AND DRUG-FREE COMMUNITY' campaign. T-shirts have been provided to each student and staff member at LRES, IHGMS and RHS.

Yard signs – Do you have one? Contact our office to display a sign in your neighborhood or location. They are FREE and show our community that we are all working together to support our young people. Take a picture of your sign, and share on social media with the hashtag: #DrugFreeRaymond

New Staff – Welcome Mrs. Christine Bostaph to her new position, Program Coordinator. Christine has been a team member in several capacities over the past several years.  We are very excited to announce that she is moving into a full time position working with our Youth Action teams at the middle and high school as well as our various, and sometimes  numerous, programs and activities. Her e-mail is cbostaph@rcyf.org.

Congratulations to our Community Partner and Leader Award Winners from the Summit!

Our Community Partner is Hannaford (Chosen prior to their very generous donation) – They have been a partner of RCFY since we started back in 2002 and continue to support our efforts and work in such events as Sticker Shock, our DEA Drug Take-Back events, and by providing muffins for our monthly meetings.

Community Leader is Pastor Kevin McBride for being a supporter, offering space for our events for many years, and most recently, being on our Heroin Drug Task Force. He is helping to lead the efforts of our "We Are Committed to a Safe and Drug-Free Community" campaign.

Youth Leader is Tim Carta.  He is very involved in RCFY, is one of our go-to youth members for events, ideas, and advocate for peer-led prevention efforts. He was also a summer intern for RCFY this past summer, and is overall a great young leader.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Got Drugs event at Hannaford this past Saturday. The DEA Deputy Administrator states that NH is 'Ground Zero' for Opioid Crisis. We collected 68 pounds of medication for safe disposal!  As a reminder, our Raymond Police Station has a permanent medication take-back box, located directly inside the door.  It is FREE and is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
