DEVELOPMENT NOTE

Dynamic Droplet Model

Dynamic Droplet Model
A new model has been implemented for dynamically computing dispersed fluid droplet sizes within the DRIFT routine. The model is based on simple mechanisms for the breakup and coalescence of dispersed material controlled by the critical Weber and Capillary numbers. The new model produces sizes that vary in both space and time as they adjust to the details of the local flow.
