Hello,

Happy Friday!

In current news, Health Canada is holding a public consultation on proposed changes to the regulation of self care products (which includes over the counter medication, natural health products, and cosmetics). They are all currently regulated under different systems, the least regulated being cosmetics.

Health Canada is conducting this public consultation after a survey they administered showed that less that 30% of people sampled felt knowledgeable about self care products and their risk/benefit.

The proposed changes don't apply to practitioner's ability to compound medicine for their patients, just self care products that consumers can buy themselves.

Anywho, the consultation ends on Monday. In the article below there is direct links to completing their online survey and more information about the topic.

Also, below are some familiar remedy images for some.  After years of sending out birthday and thank you cards about different homeopathic remedies, I've decided to make them into blog posts so more people can learn about them. I've added more information about the remedy than the synopsis that's in the cards. These are all good remedies to know in acute situations to enhance healing. Look for more coming soon!

Lastly, I wanted to mention, that as a client of Zettl Homeopathy, I can compound acute remedies for you that are often not in your local health food store. Over 12 years, I have built up a large stock and many clients like having a few key remedies in their house to have on hand for things like dental procedures, surgeries, colds, coughs, and flus.

Talk to me if you want to learn more.

Have a great weekend!
Kind regards,
Christy

"Christy took the time to fully understand me and my history. She asked questions I never would have thought of and asked for a level of detail my own family doctor didn’t even ask! Within six months, I noticed such a positive change, even beyond what I expected. She is amazing, patient and smart! She listens to the changes I experienced and has the patience to adapt her recommendations and remedies to suit my needs. I believed that she was truly dedicated to helping me feel better. I highly recommend Christy!"                                (October 2016)

Remedy Spotlight: Bellis perennis for over-exertion
