News :: October 26, 2016
We're in a busy month, filled with fun, discovery and relational connections.  Come sing with the choir tonight, and then stay for Movie Night at 7pm.

Don't forget Sunday is the Halloween Parade.  You can come to church in costume.  If you're bringing candy to help with what we'll distribute, you can leave it in the box in the front lounge as you arrive. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hoping to see you Sunday, if not before,

Monte

 The Conversation Project – have you had the conversation? ::  Community forum on Wednesday, November 9th at 7:30pm and in worship on Sunday, November 13th in worship.  Talking about dying isn't easy, but it's vitally important. 90% of people say that talking with their loved ones about end of life care is important.  Yet only 27% have actually done so.  We’ll talk this day about life and death, and how to talk about both and how you want to live them with your loved ones.  Start the conversation online here...

PRAYER REQUESTS SHARED LAST SUNDAY
Monte has been at a digital communication conference this week learning about best practices for online church communication.  One of the recommended practices is to be very careful in sharing private information without first obtaining personal authorization to share it electronically.  This applies in particular to prayer concerns.  So in the immediate short run Monte is taking the executive decision to suspend publishing online the prayer requests shared in Sunday worship, until we come up with a coherent church plan around such online sharing.
