Season of Creation 
Around the world, churches celebrated the Season of Creation or Creation time in many different ways. One thing that is evident is that this has become the Season of Creativity!

The Church in Portugal (Lusitanian Church) encouraged the whole Diocese to celebrate

St Francis Day 
Many churches celebrate the Festival of St Francis with a special service to bless the animals
A highlight was St George's Cathedral who's service was blessed with the presence of Violet the carthorse

Trees
“The leaves of the trees are for the healing of the nations”
Anglicans are linking tree planting to spirituality, and combatting themselves to deforestation.
Many churches are now linking trees to confirmation, as a symbol of spiritual life and growth:

Water
Around the communion, Anglicans are tackling issues of water, from sea level rise, polluted water, to issues of drought and water scarcity.

Around the world, Anglicans are realising that although we all need energy , that part of the Fifth Mark of Mission "to renew the Earth" includes decisions about which kind of energy we support.

Nuclear
Anglicans in Japan are supporting the victims of nuclear waste in Fukushima.They are also calling for an end to nuclear power.
