Hello All,
Today I make an announcement I've been dreaming about since 2013.
In my August #vision blog I wrote about four big ideas I have for WAM's future.
As we head into the final week of performances of our very well received co-production of 'The Bakelite Masterpiece', I'm delighted to announce that my Big Idea #3 is coming true!
Thanks to early support from Greylock Federal Credit Union, WAM is delighted to announce a special limited-run remount of our 2013 hit 'Emilie, La Marquise Du Chatelet Defends Her Life Tonight' by Lauren Gunderson, featuring the original cast!
The production will run from March 30-April 9, 2017, presented at Shakespeare & Company's Tina Packer Playhouse in Lenox, MA!
Read the Press Release on Broadway World.
Here's a one minute video of me sharing more details and a special celebratory ticket offer valid until the end of November.
You can purchase your $30 'Buy Now/Choose Your Date Later' ticket until the end of November. All ticket sales are happening through Shakespeare & Company.
There's one week left to catch 'The Bakelite Masterpiece'- getting great reviews and big houses. Final performance is Sunday October 23 at 2 pm, followed by our check presentation to our beneficiaries for this production- Berkshire Immigrant Center and Suzi Banks Baum. Join us!
Read the rave review in the Berkshire Eagle and see you at the Theatre!
Warmly,
PS- I made the Emilie announcement video in beautiful Stratford, Canada, where I just spent six days at an International Directors Masterclass at the Stratford Festival of Canada as part of my work as a participant in the Michael Langham Workshop for Classical Direction. Here's me and my colleagues on the last day with Tony Award-winning director Mary Zimmerman. We also worked with Greek director, Thomas Moschopoulos, and British director, Declan Donnellan.
