Pillar's Jays down 2-0 to Tribe;
Pederson's Dodgers lose Game 1 to Cubs


Dodgers: October 15

Dodgers CF Joc Pederson went 1-for-4 in an 8-4 loss to the host Cubs in the opening game of the N.L. championship series. Pederson singled with one out in the 9th and came home on Andrew Toles' double.

Game 2 of the seven-game series takes place at 8:00pm ET tonight in Chicago on Fox Sports 1, with L.A.'s Clayton Kershaw facing the Cubs' Kyle Hendricks.

Blue Jays: October 15

Toronto CF Kevin Pillar went 0-for-3 in a 2-1 loss to host Cleveland. The defeat left the Blue Jays down 2-0 in the seven-game A.L. championship series. 

So far this postseason, Pillar is just 2-for-22 at the plate (.091) with a home run, double, 2 walks, and 3 strikeouts.

Game 3 takes place 8:00pm ET tonight in Toronto on TBS, with Toronto's Marcus Stroman facing Cleveland's Trevor Bauer.

Blue Jays: October 14

Toronto CF Kevin Pillar went 0-for-3 with a walk a 2-0 loss to host Cleveland in Game 1 of the A.L. championship series.

Indians 2B Jason Kipnis, who has a Jewish father but identifies as Catholic, robbed Pillar of a single in a beautiful 4th-inning play.
