APD has turned 2 and with utmost delight we present to you our 3rd edition.
So how will our surrounding look in two years with the increase in waste generation in our cities? Will the pollution take over us Humans? Will there be a rise in asthmatic children in our surrounding? Keeping this in mind the past 4 months at APD has really been a thought intriguing one. While our roots remained one, we spread out the APD branches in and around the tinsel city. Donning a feather to our cap we are proud that APD Foundation recently was entrusted with the task of creating and hosting Information, Education & Communication (IEC) campaign for Solid Waste Management (SWM) by Antony Waste Handling Cell Pvt. Ltd. as a part of Mangaluru City Corporation’s (MCC) newly launched ‘Swachh Mangaluru’. Climb the mountains and get their good tidings, Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees, The winds will blow their freshness into you and the storms their energy, while cares will fall off like autumn leaves. These elusive sentiments of John Muir are to be thought of and kept in mind. Is it really necessary to find the good tidings in our surrounding these days? Look at what APD has done in finding the good tidings in the past 4 months. In case you have missed our Newsletter 1.0 or Newsletter 2.0

This is a Mangaluru civic worker(paurakarmika) who passes his day cleaning what we fling carelessly. His dignity, his life, his values are no less than ours and he is as human as us. The least we can do is to be responsible on how we throw our garbage in order to show some respect and benefit the environment. Watch
